Package: xdebconfigurator Version: 1.14 Severity: wishlist it would be useful if xdebconfigurator provided a configuration file and/or commandline options with which you could over-write the detected and default values for some settings. ability to set the default color depth, modes used, mouse protocol and device are the main options that would seem most useful off the top of my head, but i'm sure there are others... live well, vagrant -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-386 Locale: LANG=es_US, LC_CTYPE=es_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages xdebconfigurator depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30.11 Debian configuration management sy ii discover1 1.7.7 hardware identification system ii kudzu 1.1.67-1 The Red Hat Linux hardware probing ii perl-modules 5.8.4-6 Core Perl modules -- debconf information excludedAttachment: signature.asc

Version: 1.35+rm You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/295450 in Debian BTS against the package xdebconfigurator. I'm closing it as fixed in *unstable*, but it will remain open for older distributions. For more information about this package's removal, read http://bugs.debian.org/531132. That bug might give the reasons why this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements. Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question. Thank you for your contribution to Debian. -- Marco Rodrigues
