It's what we've been using in the last three years very successfully. The web interface is easy to use for anyone, and the management can be as complete as you want. For the client agent of ocs there's no problem in set it up to work out of the box. But the ocs server package in Debian is not debconf friendly, so it requires a manual setup. Anyway, as far as I remember it's not complicated at all. Also, you might use only glpi, without the automatic inventory ocs provides. The inventory integration is useful when you have many machines. There are Debian packages for both applications. Regards. José L. [1] glpi-project.org , [2] www.ocsinventory-ng.org > > Thanks for your expertise. > Kind regards. > Ralf >
