[Bug 1328] Default browser (Iceweasel) refuses to connect to https://www/ by default

if i remeber correctly from the meeting in bergen, someone was working on a CA
infrastructure. and then we would sign all certs using that CA and distribute
it's key. What is the status of this work ? 

that beeing said. i do like this solution as well. it's simple and easy to
understand. i think we can distribute it with d-e-config ?

If we do end up touching this file, we should also document it. what it's
purpose is, and how the local admin would tweak it for his own purposes. 

examples would be. 
everyone (i know of) runs backup on a standalone machine located somewhere
else.
some larger installatinos might have dedicated web or print servers.
