Would you please indicate the version of debian-edu-config (need be >=
1.426~svn58174)
and check that your /etc/squid/squid.conf contains the line:
append_domain .intern
Also try:
host -r webcache #To test DNS operation.
and
echo $http_proxy $ftp_proxy # should be == http://webcache:3128
These environment variables are used by Iceweasel and APT and are supposed to
be set by cf.squid.
