I ran "debuild" before, as I thought that was the proper way to build the 
package ;-)

I'll update the README accordingly. 

Actually my action was triggered by the mail to d-d-a recommending to provide 
a README.source in case "dpkg-source -x $package_$vsersion.dsc ; cd  
$package-$vsersion" is not the proper way to get the source package...
(And thus I plan to move README to debian/README.source.)
