Have not checked the size, but diskless workstations do have more memory
than thin clients normally.

We need to replace the symlink from /etc/mtab to /proc/mounts with
something containing the data of /proc/mounts initially and then is
writeable. Bindmounts on top of symlinks don't seem to work.
Maybe be could bindmount subdirds to the directory we bindmount later on
top of /etc, than we don't need to copy the whole thing.

This would enable it by default, even on normal thinclients, that
normally could coexist to diskless workstations.
