during the boot of a ltsp client i see 
/etc/rc4.d/S95fetch-ldap-cert: 51: cannot create
/etc/ldap/ssl/ldap-server-pubkey.pem.new: Read-only filesystem

So i guess that atleast ltsp clients do not have the cert properly in place
