What profile are you testing?  For main-server, it will take a while
for the tests to run before the login prompt appear.

There is no keyboard shortcut to disable usplash, but it is supposed to
time out after 15 seconds of inactivity.  If the screen goes black, I
would expect usplash already terminated.
