combined server same error
-insert usbpen
-get dialog: select open in new window
-konq opens empty directory /media/sdc1
-error message "permissions denied"

# id
uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root)

# ls -lh /var/run/console/
total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2007-05-21 22:35 root:7
the file root:7 is empty
