Pluto is a Debian/sarge-based distribution which specializes in centralized
media management for audio and video files (http://plutohome.com and
http://plutohome.org). The distro also includes an excellent interface for
controlling lighting, telecom, HVAC systems, and security cameras... all of
which have important implications for improving school management. If it is
possible to merge or replicate these capabilities within Skolelinux, this would
add an entirely new dimension and strength to Skolelinux as *the* school
distribution.
