I agree.  Those turning off the printer need to learn to check or clear the
queue before turning it on again.  When I send a document to the printer,
I expect it to show up sooner or later, and I would thus be surprised
if it was purged just because someone turned off the printer for a while.

Do we need to improve the documentation?
