In the Canary Islands, the new windows XP SP4 with Antivirus, MSOffice,
Firefox and the IriScene Agent they are deploying with mEDUXa (with dual
boot), do not works on Dell 240 and 260 (with a PIV 2.4 and 2.8 GHz. and 128
MB RAM). There more than 6000 of those computers here that have to choose
between installing mEDUXa (kubuntu based distro) o keeping the windows
unupdated. mEDUXa works fine in 128 MB except when using OpenOffice (firefox
works quite slow). We are studying to include Koffice for those machines.
