Package: xdebconfigurator
Version: 1.26
Severity: normal

it seems that xdebconfigurator defaults the mouse device to /dev/psaux
and protocol to PS/2 (or maybe ImPS/2).

i think the current defaults for dexconf are /dev/input/mice for the
device, and no default for the protocol, or maybe ExplorerPS/2, or does
it autodetect?

i think this recently came up because a bug was closed that ignored the
debconf settings: http://bugs.debian.org/376055

if someone could confirm and/or fix this, that would be great.

live well,
