AFAICS the following steps need to be taken to make this happen:
1) remove etc/X11/Xsession.d/20debian-edu-kdedirs from debian-edu-config (and
   add a dependency on desktop-profiles instead)
2) add the listing file at [1] to debian-edu-config as
   etc/desktop-profiles/debian-edu-config.listing
3) make sure desktop-profiles is available in all repos using debian-edu-config
   -> desktop-profiles is in etch, so we're ok for etch
    
=> can I just do the above in svn? Or does something need to be done to ensure
   that 3 isn't a problem for non-etch skolelinux versions?
