[Bug 1018] New: mail servers should accept more connections

http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=1018

Summary: mail servers should accept more connections
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: woody-release-1.0r1
          Platform: x86
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: debian-edu-config
        AssignedTo: debian-edu@lists.debian.org
        ReportedBy: rgx@gmx.de

Today, I tought the class how to setup and use mail IMAP/SMTP accounts. Using
10.0.2.2/tjener as server, we succeeded quite well (after realzing that SMTP
does not support SSL), but after short time the maximum amount of IMAP
connections was exceeded, because all pupils logged in from the same LTSP IP.

Maybe for LTSP IPs (10.0.2.x where 10 <=x <30) the maximum amount of concurrent
IMAP/SMTP connections could be increased?
