Adding Hebrew Support to Skolelinux

Hello all,

Background:
Here in Israel, we have several schools running Linux, each of them got
a custom solution made by the Linux community here. Most of the
solutions are Debian based ("pure" Debian, not derived distributions).

After talking with Kurt Gramlich about this project during DebConf5, I'd
like to start using it for our local schools.

Packages:
So, I'd like to start a process to have Hebrew support in Skolelinux.
Most of the support already exist inside Debian. For example, packages
like libfribidi0 (BIDI support) and culmus (fonts). What can be done to
have these on the CD (I guess the space on it it tight).

Regarding translation:
Hebrew has a complete translation for D-I (part of sarge D-I), so
there's only a need to translation screen added by Skolelinux (where can
I find the templates?).

Are there any other project specific screens/menus? I'll appreciate if
you could like to their templates.

Our other translation efforts are done within the GNOME/KDE projects and
another one regrading educational software in general.

At the moment Gcompris has a full Hebrew translation, and Child's Play
just got Hebrew support (the package pyfribidi is needed for that).

A bit about myself:
I'm a member of the Debian-Hebrew project which maintain BIDI and Hebrew
related package in Debian. Hope to finish soon my NM process to become a DD.
