the same bug prevents using konsole - X terminal emulator for KDE

Running this as root fix the problem temporary:
mount devpts /dev/pts -t devpts

To add this line in /etc/fstab when installing should fix the bug: 
devpts          /dev/pts        devpts  defaults        0       0
