I dont understand why everyone thinks one has to change IP adresses.
Just use a resp. *the* gateway (10.0.2.1) for coupling to other *existing*
networks. Thats what its there for.
If one wants to integrate other boxes into skolelinux network then its
better to change their ips instead of the servers.

to do) but I still have some trouble:

1/ when the terminal starts, it requests
192.168.0.254/tftpboot/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.19-ltsp-1 but only
192.168.0.254/tftpboot/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.26-ltsp-2

exists !

What do I have to change and where to have the terminal request the
proper vmlinuz file ?

/etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf

I barely copied vmlinuz-2.4.26-ltsp-2 to vmlinuz-2.4.19-ltsp-1 and the

Symlinks are also feasable.

terminal booted but this hardly answer my needs to understand what
happened ?

2/ I have created by hand 2 users in the webmin interface
"administrate users in ldap".

I note that I cannot decide which username the users will have (it is
apparently the surname and the first letter of the firstname). can I
change that ? If yes how ?

Its hardcoded. For that use CSV import function instead.

One of the user is "luciep". I see that I can do "ssh
luciep@localhost" and then successfully connect myself as luciep, but
that, on the terminal, I cannot login. I can login as "luciep" on the
server though. What happens ?

Please rephrase the situation more clearly.

3/ In order to create many users at once, I wonder what is the format
the cvs file that can be imported in this "administrate users in ldap"
tool ?

Use semicolon (";") as field seperator; you can select the type of
content for each column in the next step after uploading the CSV file.
(IIRC: a hint/explanation for this should be readable below the file upload
fields)

Thanks,

Nicolas
