[Bug 980] New: logging as a normal user on the server hangs the server

http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=980

Summary: logging as a normal user on the server hangs the server
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: System distrubution
        AssignedTo: debian-edu@lists.debian.org
        ReportedBy: faj@bzz.no

I've set up a combined server, which gets the new shiny LTSP

When I get the "OK - now everything is setup", I connect a thin client
I log in as root on the thin client (this is possible since the connection is
encrypted)

Then I add a normal user
while still logged in on the thin client, I log in on the server with the new user

Everything seems to work nicely.

Then I log out from the server (as normal user)

The machine appears to hang.
The screen goes blank
The keyboard dosen't respond
I cant ping from the gateway

I then restarts the server

The newly created user has disappeared.
no sign of it in ldap.
