Thanks for providing the lspci output.
Now we know it is a "LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c875 (rev 26)" SCSI controllor.
The debian-installer has boot options documentend in "function key screens".
Boot the CD, then there is a splash screen with a 'boot:' prompt.
Press 'F1' for help. Under 'Fx' is the option documented when booting
from SCSI controllors.
Please tried it.
