I wanted to file it, but indeed they're discussing this as Bug 69938,  
Opened: 2001-02-23 (!), last comment 2004-03-17 (!!) :-(

Mozilla seems to be "pre-downloading" files, while waiting on the user giving
the destination to save it. This pre-download is stored in $TEMP.

So, there's a bug in Mozilla, to use a normally size-limited directory, but i
thought (whyever) tmpfs is to resize automatically. May be i misunderstood
something (c:
