why don't simply use samba-3? it should solve most of the problems, and
its release a while ago, and should already be in testing. I really
think 2.2.3 should not be used anymore, >=2.2.5 is ok (since there is
a lot of changes in LDAP code there), and IMHO nothing speaks against 3.
