http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=652

Summary: mail to root not configured
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Configuration
        AssignedTo: nobody@skolelinux.no
        ReportedBy: p.carsten@arcor.de

root's inbox gets many error mails:

--------------
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim).

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  root@tjener.intern
unknown local-part "root" in domain "tjener.intern"

------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------

Return-path: <root@tjener.intern>
Received: from root by tjener.intern with local (Exim 3.35 #1)
-----------

I think the mailaliases may not be set up correctly.

The exim mail domain should also probably better be
qualify_domain = intern (or better yet skole.lan see Bug #555)
But not a specific host.

In the future the local domain (and all services using it) should be able to
be change in one step.
(with the CFG configuration system http://freedesktop.org/Software/CFG)
