[Bug 459] The users Inbox "disappears"

This still keeps happening. 

here is a translation and update on the problem:
After adding 270 new users last Autumn, the Inbox in kmail disappears. One day
the are there, the other day they are gone. 
The inbox comes back after some time. 

We have tried with Mozilla Mail, and at one point that solved the problem,
"releasing" the inbox, and it was again accessible for the teatchers and students. 

Today I had to restart Courier. 
I restarted both courier-authdaemon and courier-imap(-ssl)
