My locales and console keyboard are set to fr and this utility give me
that configuration:
KEYBOARD MODEL:
KEYBOARD LAYOUT: us
KEYBOARD RULES: xfree86

For azerty fr keyboard layout, KEYBOARD LAYOUT value would be fr.
