When booting up to start second part of installation, the machines hangs with
this last lines:

Loading usb-uhci module.
usb.c:registering new driver usbdevfs
usb.c:registering new hub
usb-uhci.c:$Revision:1.275 $ time 20:28:42 Feb 18 2004
usb-uhci.c:High bandwidth mode enabled
PCI: Assigned IRQ 11 for device 00:07.2

At this point the only thing to do is to restart the machine hard, and when
booting up again to start second stage, the machines doesn't hang, funny.  The
install finishes, and another hang occurs the first time the machines is halted
after install, with these lines:

Stopping hotplug subsystem: usbusb.c: USB disconnect on device 00:07.2-0address 1
usb.c: USB bus 1 deregistered
usb.c: deregistered driver hiddev
usb.c: deregistered driver hid
usb.c: deregistered driver usbdevfs

I've experienced this on there different laptop, but only on laptops. This is
new behavior, I think introduce about 2-3 weeks ago.
