Yes, as time allows.

Kids.

Since Debian Jr. is a sister project to DebianEdu, I hope we can complement
DebianEdu's work with our own. I will liaise between the projects so that
we can each work more effectively towards our respective sets of goals.

I expect DebianEdu to pick up where Debian Jr. leaves off. Debian Jr.
introduces kids to Linux in the early years, encouraging those who are
helping them along to explore and use free software together. DebianEdu
will go beyond just addressing the needs of children in the home, to focus
as well on the needs of educators, school administrations, and students from
K12 through university level.

There will be some overlap between the packages in Debian Jr. and the
packages in DebianEdu. However, since each group has a different focus,
each will tend to bring different sorts of new packages into Debian. To the
extent that these new additions will enevitibly overlap, each project will
augment the other's offerings. We will also strengthen each other by
developing common infrastructure, not only at the technical level, but also
in the procedures we develop to keep our projects moving towards their
respective goals.

Debian Jr. project leader.

Schoolforge representative for Debian Jr.

SEUL/edu lurker.

Maintainer for some edu applications in Debian, notably gtypist. As
maintainer, I subscribe to bug-gtypist and have some input into the
upstream development process.

There's a barely skeletal DebianWiki:BenArmstrong page already. Maybe
some day I'll get around to putting some actual content there. :)
