yes

i'm hoping for something that would make it easier for schools to adopt
linux
i'm hoping for something that would install easy and require next to no
administration at all
i'm hoping for something that would work as well in the us, as it does in
france, sweden and every other country :)

hm. thinking about this..

wouldn't it be more or less necessary to 'split' DebianEdu into two
maintrees (like someone suggested earlier on)?
one tree for server software
and one tree for desktop software

and then the desktop software-tree is split into country and then age
'cause every country requires different things..

something like,

Server
|-- Apache
|-- Sendmail
`-- Kroupware

Desktop
|-- X
|-- KDE
`|- Sweden
    |- 7-12
      |- Learn english
      `- Physics
    |- 13-15
    |- 16-19
  |- United Kingdom
  |- France

something along those lines
i know that many programs could easily fit into many 'branches', but then
just link them to each tree that they fit into..

i'm now thinking how it will look/work when you install it
you select server or desktop,
then country
then age-group(s)
and then finally which packages

my 2p..

the only real thing i've contributed to is a swedish translation of Tux
Paint (http://www.newbreedsoftware.com/tuxpaint/)
call me lazy.. ;)
