Linux LTSP

I've been approved to give a presentation at TCEA (Texas's largest Tech
conference for Educators) about Linux LTSP. My experience is a bit
limited (especially in regards to Skole Linux). I would love to compile
a list of the hardware specs of LTSP labs in use. I am particularly
interested in compiling:
 a list of older hardware in use as thin clients and the servers used
 to power them.
 typical and exceptional numbers of clients per server
 details regarding use of fat clients vs. thin clients
