Invitation to Debian Edu developer gathering Nov 29-30, 2014

We proudly invite you to a Debian Edu/Skolelinux developer gathering
Saturday and Sunday 29-30 November, 2014.  This time we are focusing
on improving the newly alpha release of Debian Edu based on Jessie.

The release is in development and need your skilled contribution,
enthusiasm and love to get to finale release.  Please participate on
making this eight version of the Debian Edu system the best that we've
ever made, making it possible for using the best of what free software
has to offer in educational software for kids and schools around the

With the software installed, students might learn to code from
examples and applications provided by top computer experts. They can
run simulations and make apps, which are become the most important
part of schools computer curriculum the past 2-3 years.

The Debian Edu / Skolelinux system is suited for installation on a
single school, or all schools in a municipality, cities or region.
Since the start of the project back in 2001, whole cities, regions and
countries has standardised on free software in education as the city
of Narvik did in Norway, the region of Extremadura in Spain or the
whole country of Brazil.

You're invited to the gathering November 29-30 in Oslo, or you could
make a gathering in your own municipality or town that weekend.
