Bonjour à tous!
Hier soir, quelques uns d'entre nous se sont rencontrés au Bénélux
afin de discuter, et de compléter le plus possible le document de
candidature de Montréal pour DebConf16.
Le document wiki [1] a été grandement amélioré, mais il reste encore
beaucoup à faire. Entre autres, il serait vraiment utile d'avoir
d'autres options que l'UQAM en cas de problèmes. Aussi, je vous invite
à ajouter votre nom au document wiki [1] si vous désirez participer à
l'organisation de la candidature, ou alors à la tenue d'un DebConf à
Montréal en prenant différentes tâches: enregistrement vidéo, front
desk, etc. Les mises à jour au wiki nécessitent tout d'abord de
s'inscrire et d'avoir son compte confirmé, mais par la suite toute
mise à jour serait la bienvenue!
Si vous avez des questions, n'hésitez pas à les poser sur la liste.

Last night, a few of us met at Benelux to discuss and improve on the
bid for Montreal to host DebConf16.
The wiki document [1] was greatly improved, but there is still a lot
left to be done. Among other things, it would be nice to have some
other location options than UQAM (to compare pricing, to have a
fallback if there are any unexpected critical issues that are
deal-breakers)... Also, I'd invite you to add your name to the wiki[1]
if you would like to help with the bid, or if you would like to help
during the conference with the video team, front desk, or any other
tasks. Updates to the wiki page require to first create an account and
have it confirmed, but you're then welcome to make changes if you have
anything to add!
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them on this list.
We're also active on the user group channel on IRC (oftc), in
#debian-quebec.
