Re: [Debian-NYC] Wheezy release party?

Ok, I heard from JH that he will be in town that weekend, and so far
no one else has had an issue with May 4th.

With that in mind, here is one option:

I can host a potluck/BYOB apartment party from 7pm-midnight Saturday
May 4th. (Whether or not Wheezy has actually shipped. The key thing is
we can't host anything on a school night.)

We probably could host about 25-30+ people without issue. We are
located at 3117 Broadway, which is a couple of blocks north of
Columbia University. The nearest train is the 1 train stop at 125th
street. (very short walk from station.)

If people want to keep hanging-out past midnight we could always go to
a nearby salon.

Does this sound appealing to folks, or should we see if there are
other options? (I know 5 hours might be shorter than people had in
mind, and the location isn't very central, especially for those coming
from Brooklyn, but on the flipside, it is only a few of blocks from
where we had DebConf10!!)

No offense will be taken if folks want to try and find a more central
location. Also, if someone else wants to host party feel free, as I am
ok coming either downtown or to Brooklyn if that's what folks want.

Thanks,
Brian

P.S. - I have pretty fast internet, and would be willing to setup a
local mirror if someone wanted to come early and help me with that.
