I announced the sad news last week here: http://mako.cc/copyrighteous/freesoftware/20050811-00 Unfortunately, it's all true. I'll be going to Boston on Sunday and will be back next week for a day or two to grab my stuff. It seems that organizing one last Debian-NYC bash is in order so let's do what we usually do and meet up at the Belgian beer bar[1] between 6.5 and 8pm on (this) Friday the 26th, have a post-bar bite, and then retire to my apartment in Washington Heights for whiskey, beer, and a final bout of "New Yorkers looking down on and making fun of Bostonians" before I actually become one. In all likelihood, I'll move back here in a couple years. While perhaps that's what they all say, I'll point out that I have moved to and left Boston before. If you want to meet up anywhere other than Vol de Nuit, give me a call at +1 206-409-7191 anytime that night or before. I hope to see some old and new faces there. If you're looking for a signed key or just to meet other Debian folks in the area, now is the time. There will also be a "moving Mako's stuff down from his fifth floor walk-up and loading it into a truck" party *next* Friday. It's open to anyone and beer will be included although I suspect that it will be somewhat less well attended.
