Hi,
	I am not a Debian developer, but I have used Debian at HOme and Work
for about 4 years now exclusively.  I saw the mention of debian-nyc-soc
on planet.debian and figured I would join, as I know no-one else who is
a Debian user and/or developer.  

I do not live in NYC, I live rather far out on LI, but I suppose it is
closer than if I lived in Boston, or one of the other cities with a
debian social list. :)
