I noticed that debian.in is registered to someone in Pune. Do we know
him?

Good thoughts. I'll just add my 2 paisa - as someone loosely connected
to Debian in India and tries to support in any way I can,
the whole thing with Kollam event was a bit unseemly. I'm sure there are
better ways to contribute than calling each other names and going
ballistic on mailing lists. It discourages newbies and creates a toxic
environment around contribution. This is very unfortunate.

Though I couldn't make it to Debutsav Kollam for personal reasons, the
whole fracas around that event discouraged me from making more efforts to
make it there somehow at least for one day. We have to find a more
respectable way of disagreeing with each other. Sorry if that hurts
anyone, it's just the view of a semi-outsider.

Cheers,
@vamsee.
