I committed changes to sv to master yesterday, before reading this. I have now cherry-pick'ed it over to sid, and created a merge commit on master to make sure they are in synch. With that, any further string fixes on sid should merge cleanly back to master, as long as the translation files aren't updated on master.
If you need help moving translations between branches for other languages, please feel free to ask, and I can see what I can do.
