I've even hacked in some unit tests :) I'm pretty happy with what's there but there's still a few TODO items left before i send the next mini-patchbomb to the list. namely: * the "common ancestor" merge parent isn't removed when the conffile disappears * there's a couple places where the fd_fd_copy or similar still needs to go to a .dpkg-tmp extension file and be renamed. I don't know how much time i'll have in the near future but I'd ideally like to have the patchset sent in the next week or so. feel free to pre-emptively comment on it though. sean
