i have a repo here:

	http://git.debian.org/?p=users/seanius/dpkg.git;a=summary

look for branches following a naming convention seanius-conffiledb-YYYYMMDD

I've uploaded the last spurt of activity from this week, which has incorporated
much (but not all, yet) feedback from previous discussion, cleaned and trimmed
the code quite a bit, and has a better solution for the "conffiledb_commit"
problem previously discussed. I've even hacked in some unit tests :)

I'm pretty happy with what's there but there's still a few TODO items
left before i send the next mini-patchbomb to the list.

namely:

 * the "common ancestor" merge parent isn't removed when the conffile disappears
 * there's a couple places where the fd_fd_copy or similar still needs
to go to a .dpkg-tmp extension file and be renamed.

I don't know how much time i'll have in the near future but I'd ideally like
to have the patchset sent in the next week or so. feel free to pre-emptively
comment on it though.
