I can certainly change that; I actually nearly did, but thought there
was some toolchain reason we left it at i386?  If not, it's a one-line
change to cputable:

# <Debian name> <GNU name>      <config.guess regex>
i386            i486            (i[3456]86|pentium)

Would do it.
