Package: dpkg Version: 1.10.24 Severity: important Tags: patch l10n Hello, Today, I received many complains about the Simplified Chinese translation on dpkg, because dpkg's output became garbage in zh_CN locale. Yes, it's my fault, absolutely. My mutt automatically changed the attachment (the latest submitted po file) from a plain UTF-8 encoding file to a mystic format. >:( I forgot to gzip it before send it out. I open this bug at important serverity, because we, Chinese users, really need a new release to fix this stupid bug before sarge. Please feel free to raise or lower it. In the attachment, you can find a _GZIPed_ po file for Simplifed Chinese translation. It should work properly. Beat me for my stupidity. :( -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9 Locale: LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to zh_CN.UTF-8) Versions of packages dpkg depends on: ii dselect 1.10.24 a user tool to manage Debian packa ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- Best Regards, Carlos
