Re: apt-get, dpkg problems



I guess that you lost some files under /var/lib/dpkg/info, like lilo.list,
testutils.list, lubpcap0.list and so on. Reinstalling those packages should
fix the problem.

For the apt problem, "apt-get install -f" with no package name provided may
help.

By the way, the debian-dpkg@lists.debian.org list is meant for the
*developpers* of that program. User questions should go to
debian-user@lists.debian.org
