Bug#153305: Another transcript for this bug with dpkg 1.10.9

  Follows another transcript of this bug. The 2nd example in which 
the --get-selections was used gave the correct reading.

/tmp$ dpkg --version
  ==> 1.10.9 (i386).
/tmp$ dpkg --root=/mnt --list|grep kernel-image
ii  kernel-image-2 2.4.19.4-486cu Linux kernel binary image for version
2.4.19
ii  kernel-image-2 486custom.1    Linux kernel binary image for version
2.4.19
/tmp$ dpkg --root=/mnt --get-selections|grep kernel-image     
kernel-image-2.4.19-586custom.2                 install
kernel-image-2.4.19-custom586.1                 install
/tmp$ 

  In addition, I have tried to run 

    dpkg --admindir=/mnt/var/lib/dpkg --list|grep kernel-image

and got the same incorrect reading.
