/usr/share/doc/<pkg>/copyright should contain the URL where the package
was downloaded from.

I agree though that we need a few extra fields in the package metadata.
IMO, we need:

Download: <tarball URL>
HomePage: <URL to project if it exists>
License: <packages license>

There's probably some more, but these come to mind.
