[alan@tomun.yi.org: Bug#129807: wont upgrade from version in pototo]

Can I get some help with this? Is it illegal to have two conffiles
hardlinked to each other? It unpacks them to their new names, as best
I can tell, and then fails to make the link.

I'm going to remove the hardlink anyway, since this affects upgrades.

Package: ncurses-base
Version: 5.2.20020112a-1
Severity: important

A dist-upgrade from ncurses-base 5.0-6.0potato1 to 5.2.20020112a-1 failed horribly.
Here is the error message:

Unpacking replacement ncurses-base ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/ncurses-base_5.2.20020112a-1_all.deb (--unpack):
error creating hard link `./etc/terminfo/r/rxvt-m': No such file or directory
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/ncurses-base_5.2.20020112a-1_all.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

The workaround is to upgrade to ncurses-base 5.2.20010318-3 first.
