Bug#92263: dpkg --list truncates output on stdout redirection

On dpkg 1.9.21 (i386) at least.

The COLUMNS workaround doesn't work if you redirect the output.

Excerpt:

GRF_PDF_3:/etc/init.d# export COLUMNS=200 && cat \
/tmp/dpkg.list | cut -d" " -f 3 | grep perl-5.005
perl-5.005
perl-5.005-bas

I also tried setting COLUMN. Same effect.
