Bug#152768: dpkg: dpkg: problem with update-alternatives

Package: dpkg
Version: 1.9.21
Severity: normal
When trying to remove the package nono, I get this error messga

update-alternatives: unable to make /usr/man/man1/editor.1.gz.dpkg-tmp a symlink to /etc/alternatives/editor.1.gz: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing nano (--remove):
subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 2
 Errors were encountered while processing:
  nano

The problem is that /usr/man doesn't exist (it has been superseed by
/usr/share/man). I think that this is a bug of update-alternatives,
which belongs to the package dpkg and not a bug of nano (and therefore
file a bug report against dpkg).
