Bug#151646: dpkg_1.10.deb conflicts with manpages-de
Package: dpkg
Version: 1.10
Installing the newest version of dpkg in unstable does only work with
dpkg -i --force-overwrite.
Command:
dpkg -i --force-overwrite
/var/local/mirrors/debian/dists/woody/main/binary-i386/base/dpkg_1.10.deb
Vorbereiten zum Ersetzen von dpkg 1.9.21 (durch
.../binary-i386/base/dpkg_1.10.deb) ...
Entpacke Ersatz-dpkg ...
dpkg - Warnung: Problem wird übergangen, weil --force angegeben ist:
versuche »/usr/share/man/de/man1/md5sum.1.gz« zu überschreiben, welches auch
in Paket manpages-de ist
Richte dpkg ein (1.10) ...
Moving /usr/info/dir to /usr/share/info/dir.
Making /usr/info a symlink to /usr/share/info.
(Warning and error messages in English what it says is:
Preparing to replace...
Unpacking ...
dpkg-warning: Problem is (resolved?) because of option force
trying to overwrite »/usr/share/man/de/man1/md5sum.1.gz« which is also in
manpages-de.
dpkg -l dpkg manpages-de
ii dpkg 1.10 Package maintenance system for Debian
ii manpages-de 0.4-3 German manpages
