dpkg port on HPXU11
Hi dpkg maintainer's.
I just wonder if a port of dpkg (actually the goal is apt :-) to HPUX is is
doable.
I tried a naive grab of dpkg-1.6.15 made a configure like this
$ MAKE=gmake CCC=aCC CC=cc CFLAGS="-v +DA1.1 -g" ./configure
Did a make like this
$ gmake
(gmake is a link to GNUmake)
And I got the make tail ending like this
cc -D_REENTRANT -D_GNU_SOURCE -O -DHAVE_CONFIG_H
-DLOCALEDIR=\"/usr/share/locale
\" -I../intl -I../intl -I../include -I.. -I. -I../include -I.. -I.
-DCOPYINGFILE
=\"/usr/share/doc/dpkg/copyright\" -c varbuf.c
cc: "varbuf.c", line 30: error 1586: Redefinition of function "varbufaddc".
gmake[1]: *** [varbuf.o] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/d2/local/debian/dpkg-1.6.15/lib'
gmake: *** [all-recursive] Error 2
Is there some patches I should grab? I dig into it, to see if it is some hp cc
broken thing inthe meantime.
Thanx in advance
Phi
