I've started installing apache-ssl and php3 again, and even with slink's dpkg /etc/php3/apache/php3.ini was missing. Then I've tried to experiment and could no longer reproduce it with either slink's nor potato's dpkg - they all produced php3.ini correctly. The horde stuff still gives the problem with no apparent pattern: soetimes /etc/horde/ has a lot of files, sometimes - just a couple. Sergey.
