> It used to work. :) I do know that /var/lib/dpkg/updates/ does exist. It is not damaged, and the disk it sits on is OK too. I can cd to the dir, create files there and delete files there. Let me know if you need more info.
Can you please run this under `strace -ff' and send me the output ?
