helpmsgs.cc is generated from helpmsgs.src but it isn't gettextized.
I think simply modification of mkhelpmsgs.pl script could help.
Then it is required to make 'po' directory after 'dselect' directory,
when the sources for gettext will be prepared.
Is it possible to include my patch with translated fieldnames?
Of course if you'll check it is all right.

gettext could be included to perl-base.
